Eyebrow & Permanent Care
Eyebrows & Permanent Makeup Pre-care Instructions
Please do not come hungry to your appointment. Appointments can run up to 4 hrs so please eat prior to your appointment.
Avoid caffeine on the day of your appointment. Caffeine is a stimulant and can heighten your sensitivity. It can also cause you to bleed more than usual.
No working out or do not consume alcohol within 24 hours of the procedure.
If you bruise easily, we recommend to take arnica before the procedure and after. Arnica is available in health food stores.
If you are prone to cold sores, please see your doctor. You will likely get a cold sore after a lip treatment.
I advice picking up a stronger numbing cream of 10%. By law, I can only carry 5%. This is for your comfort.

Aftercare Instructions for eyebrow & permanent makeup procedure
Please read these instructions carefully for safety and great healing results.
Keep your hands washed and clean when applying ointment to the treated area.
Do not allow the treated area to get wet. If you shower, cover the area with vitamin A&D or petroleum jelly.
Stay away from the sun, heat and tanning beds.
You may use ice packs if needed. Protect it with a cloth or clean plastic.
During the healing process, keep all makeup and lotions away from the treated area.
Avoid sleeping on the treated area.
Please use Vitamin A&D or petroleum jelly for healing. You want to keep the area moist for up to 7 days. Apply ointment 3 times a day. You will notice some flaking. Do not force the flakiness off. This will create uneven color and patchiness. Allow dead skin to come off on its own. For the lips only you may use polysporin (black tube). Do not use this on your eyebrows! Lips only!!
Many clients lose 20-60% of the initial implanted color. The color goes through phases and may initially appear lighter, but within three to 4 weeks more color usually appears. A touchup is usually required from 6-8 weeks.
Touchups may be necessary to make any adjustments, such as darken the color that may have healed too light or to add additional color where it may be needed.
After the procedure has healed use a hydrating moisturizer and apply 30 SPF sunscreen to the area to protect it from premature fading.
